2013 New York international auto show (NYIAS). Here is the all-new 2014 Cadillac CTS. Here is not only pictures, but also performance information. Very interesting news from New York. First of all, lets start this review from technical details. The Cadillac CTS has 3 option of engines, this is:
- 2.0 L Turbo which produces 272 Horsepower @ 5000 RPM and 295 lb.ft of torque @ 2500-4000 RPM.
- 3.6 L V6 with 321 horsepower @ 6800 RPM and 275 lb.ft of torque @ 4800 RPM.
- Same 3.6 L engine with Twin Turbo with 420 horsepower @ 5750 RPM and 430 lb.ft of torque @ 3500-4500 RPM.
2.0 Liter turbo engine is mated to 6-speed automatic transmission. There will be RWD and AWD options. Fuel economy: 19/30 mpg (City/Hwy) for RWD and 18/28 mpg (City/Hwy) for AWD. Acceleration 0-60 Mph: 6.1 sec for RWD and 6.5 sec for AWD.
3.6 Liter V6 engine has two option of transmission types: 6 or 8-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy: 19/28 mpg (City/Hwy) for RWD and 18/27 mpg (City/Hwy) for AWD. Acceleration 0-60 Mph: 5.9 sec for RWD and 6.2 sec for AWD.
So there is same engine but added Twin Turbo! V6 engine is mated only 8-speed automatic transmission and it will be only RWD. Acceleration 0-60 Mph: 4.6 sec! Fuel economy: 17/25 mpg (City/Hwy).
