Ladies and gentlemen, i want to talk about 2015 Acura NSX Sports car! Acura presented NSX long time ago but every auto show we can see Acura's showroom where we can see beautiful and true future car NSX! At the 2013 New York International Auto Show we saw again Acura NSX. This is not yet in production but in 2015 will be. Acura says that new NSX will be a hybrid sports car. The NSX is mid-engine designed, that means engine it is not mounted front like ordinary family cars has. This is not new design for the NSX because it's predecessor also mid-engine mounted.



Lets back to the past and remind the first generation legendary Honda NSX. The first NSX introduced by Honda and released in 1990. Production continue and finally ended in 2005. This is beautiful 15 years when first generation NSX released and still live with us. Originally first NSX made for the Ferrari 328 competitor because of its engine displacement but later NSX competitor became the Ferrari 348. The first NSX designed like F-16 fighter jet. The NSX's design comes from F-16 fighter jet cockpit. The engine was 3.0-Liter V6 (C30A) which produces 270 bhp (201 kW; 274 PS) and 210 lb·ft (280 N·m) of torque. Years showed Honda that this is not enough and Honda decide to made second engine, upgraded old. Second engine was C32B 3.2-Liter V6 producing 290 bhp (216 kW; 294 PS) and 224 lb·ft (304 N·m) of torque. The old NSX comes that 3.2-Liter V6 engine until the end of the production 2005. Don't think that this is just an ordinary sports car, the real beast name is NSX Type R or you can call it NSX-R!

The C32B engine is not upgraded only for the displacement, but also metallurgical technique used. Honda used FRM technique and made cylinders. The FRM means Fiber Reinforced Metal. This is not all. The engine that made by Honda was very strong and powerful. The NSX engine is the first mass-production engine which has titanium connecting rods. The C30A engine can reach up to 8000 RPM that is factory redline but it can also reach 9000 RPM. The C32B engine is mated to 6-speed manual transmission which is used 1997-2005. Between these years 1990-2005 Honda made numerous remarkable NSX versions. Here is not only street legal cars but also racing versions too.
From 1990 produced NSX has C30A (3.0-Liter V6) engine: NSX-R (JDM), NSX-T. Then comes upgraded models from 1997 to 2001: NSX-S (or NSX type S), NSX-S-Zero or S-Zero (JDM), Alex Zanardi Edition NSX. After that in 2002 NSX got refreshed, nothing is changed significantly, headlamps fixed and got xenon HID headlamps, also rear tires got wider and suspension is revised. That was minor body refresh. After that Honda continue produce NSX upgraded versions. In 2002 produced second and upgraded version of NSX-R (JDM) model, it has 3.2-Liter V6 (C320B) Engine. The Next refreshed version are NSX-R GT (JDM) and  NSX-S Refresh (JDM). The NSX-R GT (JDM) version is more responsive, more agile and quicker than 2002 NSX-R. 2005 year, this is the end of manufacturing the old NSX during 15 years. Only 3 years later at the Tokyo auto show 2008, Honda presented NSX Mugen RR concept, this is the last news from old NSX.



Now back to the present and talk about the new NSX. Acura said that this car will have 3.7-Liter high output engine, which is mated to 7-speed twin-clutch transmission. It will have 3 electric motors, one of three electric engine is mounted between engine and transmission, the rest of electric motors is mounted front, each electric motor will spin its connected front wheel. This is not everything. The NSX has Super-Handling All-wheel-drive system. This is power like big block V8 engine and fuel economy better than 4 cylinder engine. This is all what we are expecting from Acura. Lets see to the future what will be happen. Design of this NSX it is very beautiful, new look, new design, new features is what we need in future.
